A massive dose of jazz for all music lovers and jazz buffs again in Gdańsk! Get ready for 12 days (25–27.10, 8–11.11, 14–17.11 and 20.11.2019) of a remarkable music adventure and 23 guests from Poland, the USA, the UK, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Japan, and Arab countries!

One of the highlights of this year’s edition is Cécile McLorin Salvant, a three-time winner of a prestigious Grammy Award. The latest one, in 2019, she received for her album The Window. Her performance in the tone of a French cabaret – together with American variety show and Nat King Cole’s aesthetics – is absolutely a must.

Another star of this year’s festival is Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah, already known in Gdańsk. Again, in the company of Logan Richardson, with his disarming saxophone, he will perform in Żak on 14 November with a seven-member band and present the material from his well‑received album Ancestral Recall.

The participants of Jazz Jantar Festival are not only famous and popular musicians but also unknown artists and novices. The first ones to perform will be LLovage – an unconventional duo of Polish musicians, Olo Walicki (double bass) and Jacek Prościński (drums). Their music is a combination of acoustics tinged with electronic music and samplers, which makes it a unique music experience, unorthodox both in the jazz circle as well as in pop music.

Other artists to perform on the Suwnicowa Stage include RASP Lovers – a combination of punk, avant garde jazz, electronic music, improvisation, and alt-rock. The band will present the material from their debut album to revolutionise the perception of jazz in Poland.

Do not wait and get your ticket for this remarkable event, unique both in Poland and Europe.

Tickets and festival passes as well as reservations are available in the ticket office of Klub Żak every day from 15.00 to 21.00 (on Saturday and Sunday from 16.00).
