Spectacular observation decks, new areas of taste, beach attractions, and many recreational activities to choose from – the only thing that is constant in Tricity is its constant change.

Three completely different cities of incomparable charm, one Pomeranian metropolis – Tricity is extremely attractive at any time of the year, yet especially in the summer one can enjoy numerous available attractions and opportunities to spend free time. As the cities compete in offers for tourists, one can easily find thrilling entertainments – not only when traveling alone but also with beloved ones and family trips.

In the capital of freedom

The historical capital of Pomerania, a city with an incredible history, a powerful heart of Polish memorable changes – Gdansk is without a doubt a Baltic treasure for those interested in history, art, and extraordinary tourist offers. The Museum of the Second World War and the European Solidarity Center are must-see places for visitors who feel united with this part of Europe.

The center of Gdansk delights tourists with the Długa Street restored after World War II, its beautiful tenement houses, bars and cafes, the Neptune Fountain, Mariacka Street which is also called the amber street, the wooden crane, and the Granary Island (Wyspa Spichrzów). Further away, Gdansk Oliwa is a space of green rest and relaxation and in the nearby cathedral one can hear its famous organs.

On the way to the Imperial Shipyard, with a recently opened viewpoint, one passes the historical Gate no 2 of the Gdansk Shipyard and the Road to Freedom.

An extremely popular place among enthusiasts of pure pleasure on a plate is the Słony Spichlerz. The culinary heart of Tricity is a modern culinary zone that offers 9 gastronomic concepts in one place. There, one will find plenty of delicious dishes inspired by international cuisines (including Thai), but the Słony Spichlerz also tempts with the taste of homemade pies and pastries, “slow” breakfasts, an amazing original Italian oven baked pizza, grilled seafood and fish directly off the boat, as well as other surprising treats.

Hospitable Sopot all year round

A mecca for lovers of long romantic walks, a paradise for health resort visitors, and the perfect place for a weekend break. Its most characteristic wooden pier, well-known and loved by tourists, gives a great opportunity to admire the sea, ships, and an extensive, wide beach – one of the most beautiful of the Baltic coast. In Sopot, one simply cannot get bored and every corner of the city brings an unexpected attraction. Sopot has a vibrant theater and exciting cultural centers that together with annual music festivals and “Sopot by the book” literary festival attracts thousands of enthusiasts of art performance and works of literature.

Original pubs, bistros and restaurants, excellent confectioneries and cafés – in Sopot at every turn one can try delicious, fancy treats. In the restaurants one can try delightful local fish and creative dishes served by famous chefs.

Those that hunger for art should definitely visit the State Art Gallery in Sopot by Bohaterów Monte Cassino Street (known as Monciak) that enjoys visitors with both modern and traditional art. The gallery is an important and prestigious place of art, not only in Pomorskie but in the whole country.

An attraction that has recently become very popular is a visit in outdoor saunas on the beach – the Saunspot. They are open from the end of the summer until the first day of May. It’s a wonderful spot for those who are seeking an interesting way to rest including winter swimming. In addition, saunas have glass walls, so one can enjoy an unforgettable view of the Gdansk Bay from within. After a relaxing session one should come by the nearby restaurant where a special “sauna menu” awaits for the guests.

Energetic Gdynia

Biking is the fastest and the most pleasant way of sightseeing one of the youngest Polish cities. By the sea families will definitely enjoy visiting two ships – ORP Błyskawica and Dar Pomorza. They tell and show the rich history of the Polish Navy and the great sailing traditions of Poland.

Gdynia successfully delights both the youngest explorers (with a vast offer of educational entertainments of the Science Centre EXPERYMENT) and those passionate about history (with places like the Emigration Museum). The city is perfect for walks, meetings, and carefree lifestyles but also a vacation destination chosen by thousands of tourists every year. Friendly and open Gdynia offers a network of excellent cycling trails to even better explore the picturesque coast – from ports to cliffs.

At any time of the year, Tricity attracts visitors to discover and observe rapid changes in the most energetic region of Poland.
