It’s a great idea to taste Hoi Kab (42 PLN) – Thai mules with coconut milk, lemongrass, and coriander, or Amok (26 PLN) – a zander prepared with homemade curry paste, coconut milk and an egg steamed in a basket made from banana leaves. You should also try Bao – Asian buns steamed with Lao spices. The Lao Thai also offers a great selection of curries, appetizers with a vegetarian option, soups and dishes famous for their tamarind, lime and coriander aroma.
The restaurant serves also a traditional spicy-sour soup Tom Yum Koong with shrimps, lemongrass and coriander (22 PLN) and delicate Keaw Moo soup with wonton (Chinese dumplings), shitake mushrooms and mung sprouts (19 PLN). A filling lunch set costs only 35 PLN but smaller options such as fresh salads, kids menu and refreshing desserts that turn every meal into a real eastern feast are also worth mentioning. A reasonable price-quality ratio for this delicious food is also a reason for the guests to gladly return for even more culinary experiences.
